FAQ

Q: I need additional materials for my pack, can I order additional DVD'S etc?

A; As long as you have a Centaur training pack you can order any duplicate items from it

Q: We have recently lost one of our Key Trainers, what can I do about having another individual trained to take their place?

A; Centaur run training courses throughout the UK,and from time to time we may have the occasional spare place available.

Q: I have been trained as a Centaur Key Trainer but I am due to start a job with a new employer. Can I continue with my training?

A; In short, the answer is yes.However, it is advisable that you contact Centaur with your new details etc.

Q: My old pack had acetates, but my new one does not. Are they still available?

A; The new training packs now have a "Flash MX" presentation. We also have a PDF version included on a CD-Rom which enables you to print your own acetates if they are still required. However, you can order acetates directly from Centaur,if you would prefer.

Q: I need more time to complete my evaluation. Is this possible, and if so what do I do ?

A; There are always situations which may prevent evaluations being completed on time.We recognise this fact and recommend you call Centaur to re-arrange a revised “return by” date.

Q: As a Key Trainer, how many sessions should I be running on a regular basis, and how many people can I train at any one time ?

A; The Chartered Society of Physiotherapists recommend that a maximum of six people can be trained by one trainer in a practical session (although this has been slightly relaxed in certain circumstances). Centaur can not dictate the number of training sessions to be delivered by a KeyTrainer. However, we would recommend a minimum of one training session per month.

Individual circumstances may vary, depending on the number of people in the organisation. If you are in any doubt, please contact Centaur.
